Last week the weather people were calling for this BIG storm, 4-6 inches for this weekend. I was so excited because Avery did not go out in the snow last year because we hardly got anything. We went out Friday night and I let her pick out snow boots, Disney princess of course. She was so proud of them. She wore them all weekend in the house. Saturday came we waited and waited and waited and just a dusting happened, I told Avery there was suppost to be more snow on Sunday. This morning she came into our bedroom crying because in her words "there is no extra snow". She was so upset and disappointed. Dh promised they could go out and stomp around the yard in her new snow boots with what snow we did get.
Thanks to the weather channel for crushing my daughter's excitement for snowmen, snow angels and snowballs!
