Yes that is what Dh and I are in the middle of. I like uncommon names he keeps suggesting traditional names. I am already getting my way with the middle name, which will be my Mom's middle name because I am due on her Birthday so I am trying my hardest to take his suggestions. Some are OK some are just plain. I loved the name AUBREE he hates it, I have about 10 others I like, but he hates. He likes EMILY at first but it is one the top 10 baby name list as #1, I refuse anything on the top 10 baby names. So here were are, we have three names hanging on the refrig right now, all three are suggestions from DH none I LOVE and I feel I should LOVE my child's name, I LOVE Avery's name. We did not have this much problems choosing Avery's name, I suggested it first he agree, we were done.
I know you all are like you have till May to decide but I really want to give this baby a name and prepare DD alittle more with her baby sister coming named XYZ.
I hate that this is soooo hard.

STILL A GIRL!!!!
I had my REAL big u/s with the Dr. today, everything looked perfect and she is still a girl! I want to go shopping so badly but with the possible ban with selling used children's clothes I have been trying to list all my unlisted inventory.
I will go shopping this weekend, we are also going to talk about names this weekend. I can not wait to finally give this baby a name.
I do however have to go back at 22 weeks, the whole reason I had to go to maternal - fetal medicine for y u/s was b/c my sister has a cleft palate (not lip) so they were checking for that, but when they went to look at it, she would either push her face into my placenta or cover her face with her hands, so they want to see me again, they forsee everything being perfect but just incase, I guess so I do not sue them later.
So I will get to see her two more times, next u/s with DR and when we have our 3D, today was our 9th u/s and I am only 19 weeks, so basically an u/s every other week, CRAZY!
So everything is great, we are happy and I feel alittle more connected to this baby being able to call it a she. I think IF made me so guarded with getting to attached, now I am just totally in love.
Once we pick a name I will post a u/s pic!

IT"S A GIRL!!!!!!
Well we had a somewhat cooperative baby today not as bad as last time, but they got many money shots after some coaxing to have her uncross her legs and let us see,
It still has not sunk in I will have two daughters! So excited!
It is going to be a estrogen filled house, even the dog is a GIRL. Hee Hee
DH said he thought it was a Girl and when we told DD while still at the u/s she said "I know that already" Guess her intuition about the baby being a sister was right! At least I can keep the clothes I already have and reuse, since the other option was to throw them out (see post below)
Now we just have to pick a name, I have a few I like just need DH to approve.
I have my REAL big u/s thursday so hopfully we can get it confirmed, hope it does not change b/c I have told so many people already.
BTW DH thinks his side was disappointed with the girl news but oh well.
TEAM PINK FOR ME!!!

I will be writing more...
About this SAVE THE USED CHILDRENS CLOTHES issue, but lets say by Feb 9th I will be out of business and have to throw away all my inventory and lose thousands of dollars on perfectly good stuff. Here is a great pice about what is about to go down. If you care about this and you should b/c this will affect your future children and the amount of money you spend on already pricy clothes...

First, thank you very, very much for taking the time to read this. I realize it is a bit long, but it is of utmost importance that this information get out to the public and we let our senators and representatives know our feelings on the matter. At issue is a new law which goes into effect February 10, 2009. You may have heard about it, but most people have not. It is titled CPSIA, which stands for Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Basically, what the act says, is that ALL, and yes, I mean ALL, products designed to be used by and for children under the age of 12 must be tested for lead levels. This means clothing, bedding, cribs, toys, highchairs, bibs, booties, hats, shoes, etc. ANY item that is made for a child must be tested. Now in essence, this is great. I am very happy that Congress and the Consumer Product Safety Commission is being proactive on the health and safety of our children. Unfortunately, the way the law is written, thousands of businesses will be forced to shut down.
Who will be affected by the CSPIA??? Large retailers, small companies that make wood toys, the local moms who make cloth diapers to sell, resale and consignment stores such as Childish Things, seasonal consignment sales such as Just Between Friends, Mothers of Twins Club sales, and many, many other businesses. There will be no more selling of children's items on Ebay, or Craigslist. It will be illegal to make an item and sell it at a church bazaar, unless the item is tested first. The cost of such testing is prohibitive to those people who do not mass produce items. The cost of the testing will be passed on to the consumer somewhere, so this in turn will drive prices up, even when our economy is such a sad state right now.
At first, I thought to myself, this is ridiculous. They can't just shut down all these businesses, especially with the economy the way it is. But, after reading through the entire law and multiple BLOG sites, I realized, yes, they can. Again, I support the idea of testing, but to test every item, even those which are inherently lead free, is crazy. There is a possibility that natural organic products will be exempted, but, if the fabric is dyed in any way, the item will have to go through testing.
The current ruling makes this new lead requirement retroactive. This means that a product that was produced several months ago, and which is safe and legally compliant today, will not be able to be sold on February 10. It means we are being held responsible for a standard that didn't even exist when those goods were made. This requirement will make second-hand items unavailable for a very long time because the requirement will continue to change 2 more times until the lead levels drop to 100 ppm by August 11, 2011.
This is what YOU can do:
Please call or write to our 2 senators and the representative of where you live. Let them know that you are calling and/or writing about the CPSIA Law. Tell them that in theory this new law is a good idea, but that they did not take into consideration the consequences it will have on all of us in these already financially trying times. Tell them whether you are a shopper or a consignor. Tell them how this law will affect you personally if you could no longer buy used items. Be passionate and persistent. Tell them that this law MUST BE AMENDED by NOT making the new lead requirement retroactive, and also that the CPSIA simply forgot to exclude the class of toys and other handmade items that have earned and kept the public's trust. The result, unless the law is modified, is that handmade toys, clothes, and other children's items will no longer be legal in the US.
If you would like more information on the act, I have included links at the bottom of this page for some sites which will give you a lot of information. Thank you again so very much for reading this email, and thank you too for your support of small businesses around the country.

Big Party Tomorrow
We have the BIG 3rd Birthday Party tomorrow, we have about 30 people coming to celebrate, this year DD picked out a Disney princess theme and while we were getting things out of their bags (decorations and such) DD thanked me over and over for all the Princess Stuff! Wait till she sees her cake tomorrow. DD loves Disney princesses ALOT, we have princess everything which is OK with me.
Since we are having company tomorrow, DH and I spent the entire day cleaning, yes when I clean my tiny 1400 sq ft house it takes all day, DH never helps to clean any other time except when company will be coming. I have to make him a list of what he is in charge of (his request not mine) and he does it, he helped a little more then just what is on the list b/c I am pregnant and can not move things like normal but it was nice to have the help, wish he would help all the time BLAH :P
I have a few things to do tomorrow then it is party time!
I will post pics hopefully soon.

I had a few things to say about IF today, reading some posts on the nest and another board I belong to for IF, but I think I need to cool off before I go ahead and post it, it got me fired up - especially all the stuff about secondary IF. IF sucks period... no matter what your journey is. 2008 was a horrible time for us, we started treatment in 2008 and even though I am carrying a little bundle of joy it is hard not the shake the IF stuff. I do not think I ever will, it has changed me forever.
I probably will not post tomorrow, unless I am still awake after everyone leaves... I am so tired from just today. But my follow up gender check is Monday afternoon, pray for a cooperative baby! I also have another u/s Thursday with my Fetal Medicine for the anatomy scan, so hopefully we can find out the gender Monday and get it confirmed by another set of eyes Thursday.
To be honest, I am hoping it is what the first u/s told us (sorry not sharing yet) b/c the tech said she thought she knew what it was and showed us the area but said she did not want to say definitely b/c of the position the baby was in, I want a definite. But I am kinda attached the to idea of this certain gender. But I know in the back of my mind it could change.
Wish us luck!
